Expressive Figuration

Expressive figuration refers to an artistic style where the human or animal figures depicted are not necessarily rendered with anatomical precision, but rather infused with emotional intensity. Distorted proportions, coupled with broad and exaggerated gestures amplify the emotional impact of the artwork. I worked in this style as I completed my undergraduate work.
